| 01 Jan | 0001 | Peak Hill | Devon and Cornwall police request a cliff team to recover a person located on the cliff 30 meteres from the top of Peak hill, casualty was located after a search by the police for a missing person, casualty had become lodged in thick undergrowth, Rescue Helicopter winchman was unable to access the casualty due to the undergrowth, Cliffman was lowered to cut a path to the casualty and get access for the winchman. person was consious but hypothermic, casualty was eventually winch into the aircraft and transferred to RD & E Hospital.( this incident started in 2009 and ended in 2010) Exmouth coastguard assisted |
